The case for four panels
Bento design is usually celebrated for asymmetry, but a strict 2×2 grid has its own power: perfect balance, zero visual hierarchy games, and nowhere for weak content to hide. Each panel spans 6 of the 12 columns and 4 rows, so all four ideas get identical weight. Panels A and D ship image-ready; B and C carry the purple and teal variants so the square never feels flat.
